Monday, 6 September 2010 Title San-no-mon Gate rare Artist Masamoto Mori born 1912 Signature 'Masamoto'. Seal Artist's seal. Dated 1950. Publisher Adachi. Medium/Technique Woodblock print. Impression Excellent - very good. Colors Excellent - very good. Condition Excellent - Very good … Light toning. Slight foxing. Slight mat line along the middle of the left side of the image. Top left corner and the middle of the upper margin are pasted on the original presentation folder. Description "Komoro-jo ato San no Mon". San-no-mon gate at the remains of Komoro castle in Nagano prefecture. The gate is used as the entrance to the "kaiko-en" (Retro Garden) of the castle.
