Shunga Artist: Kunisada (attrib.) Format: Koban yoko-e: 3.5" x 4.75" Subject: A young woman sitting on top of a young man holding a love letter, behind them through an open window boats at anchor. Publisher: Privately Printed Date: c. 1840 Condition: Fine colors. Trimmed. Laid down on Japanese paper. A very small wormhole bottom left. Very minor rubbing, marks and flaws. Vertical crease marks. Generally very good state of preservation. Impression: Fine impression with gauffrage and metallic pigments.
