Triptych: Three Bijin of the Modern Age Artist: Kunichika Format: Oban triptych: each sheet: 14.5" x 9.5" Subject: Beneath flowering Prunus trees by night, the bust portraits of three elegant bijin. Date: c. 1860's Condition: Fine colors. Very slightly trimmed. Slight rubbing and offsetting. Album foldmarks along right edges. Minor marks and flaws. Generally very good state. Impression: Fine impressions with gauffrage, burnishing and metallic pigment.
