Kuchi-e: The Doll Artist: Takeuchi Keishu Format: Aiban tate-e: 11" x 8.25" Subject: A young bijin putting down a doll at a display table for the dolls festival. Date: c. 1900 Condition: Sligtly trimmed. Laid down on card. Two horizontal foldmarks. Slightly soiled. Some light stains. Minor foxing, creases, marks and flaws. Generally very good state. Colour: Fine colors. Impression: Fine impression with gauffrage.
