Description:
Sunday, 16 September 2007 Gekka no Bijin (Beauty in Moonlight) by Takeuchi Keishu. Original Japanese woodblock kuchie print circa Meiji 29 (1896). Print measures 8.1 x 11.2 inches. Good condition. Center fold and two 1/4 inch splits in bottom margin. Print is backed by album paper. Print still retains original colors. Compare to same image on page 290 of the book "Survey of Woodblock Kuchi-e Prints".
