Description:
Kawase Hasui - "Snow at Shinkawabata" Original atozuri wooblock print (later edition from original blocks) . Bearing the red Watanabe Heisei era seal in the bottom right margin. This indicates the print was created during the reign of the current Emperor Akihito, who ascended to the Throne in January 1989. Feint Watanabe 7mm seal in bottom right of the image. Oban size print on thick, modern washi. Image size: 24.1cm (W) x 36.5cm (H) Dated Showa 11 (1936)
