Thursday, 26 July 2007 Japanese Woodblock Print by Kawase Hasui Nara Park Artist: Kawase Hasui Date:1953 , Published by Watanabe Shozaburo Image Size: Oban, about 10" x 15" Condition: Fine color and bleed through, very good condition, some slight waves. Absolutely no water damage to these prints. I took these pictures outside and most of them show shadows, but there are not shadows or problems with the prints unless noted. May be a calendar print commissioned by Pacific Transport lines (edition of 500 copies), never been framed This woodblock print is part of a hanging calendar / portfolio and each print is attached just at the top. The other paper shows yellowing around the edges but the print itself is in great condition.
