Description:
Kawase Hasui "Snow at Kansanomiya Shrine, Lake Tazawa" Dated Showa 2 (1927) Original atozuri wooblock print (later edition from original blocks) . Bearing the red Watanabe Heisei era seal in the margin. This indicates the print was created during the reign of the current Emperor Akihito, who ascended to the Throne in January 1989. Watanabe 7mm seal in the image at lower right margin. Oban size print on thick, modern washi. Image size: 36.1cm (W) x 23.5cm (H)
