Description:
Tuesday, 3 July 2007 Yanagi Bridge from a series of Lantern Shaped Prints by Kawase Hasui. Rare original Japanese woodblock print circa 1930s. Fine color, condiition and impression. Print has never been framed. 7.7 x 5.1 inches. Strong texture and ink bleedthough on soft washi. Red Hasui seal on right side of image. Compare to same print on page 152 of Volume one "Kawase Hasui The Complete Woodblock Prints".
