Description:
KAWARAZAKI Shodo (1889-1973) "Rose" Original woodblock print on thick washi. Oban Size Image: 24.1cm (W) x 36.2cm (H) Red Shodo seal in image at bottom left. Original woodblock print dated Showa 31 (1956). Unsodo Publisher's mark in margin at lower right. This is a very fine botanical design. Very fine colouration and impression with good bleedthrough of pigment to verso. Gentle embossing adds relief to the image.
