Description:
ARTIST: KAORU KAWANO (1916-1965) Japan ITEM: Woodblock print depicting a young girl and two birds. SIZE: Framed overall dimensions are 20 1/8" x 14 3/4". Sight dimensions are 15 1/4" x 9 5/8". SIGNATURE: Chop signed lower right. CONDITION: We have not examined this print outside of the frame. However, it appears to be in superior condition with no signs of foxing, tears or historical repairs. OTHER: The artist is well known for his portrayal of young girls. We have not had this particular image before. It is gallery framed; in excellent condition and ready to hang on the wall.
