Description:
This is a wonderful contemporary Japanese woodblock print by Kawano Kaoru (1916-1965); the print measures 11 ?” by 16 ?” and with its silk matting and frame measures 16 ?” by 22 ?”. A haunting child’s face peers out from behind two white calla lilies on dark green stems. This beautiful print is in very good condition with no folding, tears or damage; I believe the mark on the reverse is a publishers seal.
