Tuesday, 25 January 2005 Up for bid is a woodblock by Kaoru Kawano. Image size is 14 3/4" X 9 3/4" (sheet 17' X 11 1/4" ). Image colors, condition and bleed through are excellent. Very light toning on margins. Thin line of tape residue on upper back edge of print and a small stain speck (back edge only). Signed by the artist with seal lower right. A very beautiful woodblock by Kawano, ranking as one of his best!
