Sunday, 23 August 2009 This is a very nice woodblock by well known printmaker Kaoru Kawano (1916-1965). Title: "Butterflies". Image: 21 3/4 x 14 7/8in or (55.2 x 37.8cm). Sheet: 23 3/4 x 18in or (60.5 x 45.7cm). Carved and printed by Kawano. Edition: 72/300. Titled and signed in pencil. Very good condition. Full margins.
