Saturday, 21 July 2007 A large vintage original silkscreen/serigraph by listed renown Japanese Artist/Printmaker Yukio Katsuda (B. 1941). The print size is adhered to an artist matte board & measures approximately 25.5 in. (H) & 19 in. (W). I have removed this print from its original gallery frame so I can accurately report any condition problems that I detect & to help lower S/H cost. This print is in very nice good condition. The colors are vibrant yet muted & subtle. There is a bit of minor & minimal dark spots (dirt?) in the 2 in.white margins but no real visible signs of any kinds of problems on the print itself. The matte is a pumpkin-tan color (some fading) & has been taped in 3 places to frame print. The matte can be easily removed & is not taped or glued directly to the print. The tape is adhered to the back of the artist matte board only. It is pencil signed (LR) Y. KATSUDA & '79. It is numbered (LL) 94/100 & No. 127. Originally framed in 1979 at KANDA'S GALLERY B.O.Q. TOKYO etc.
