Rare1920's Japanese Watercolor Night Scene by E. Kato A beautiful watercolor of a night Street scene in a Japanese town, painted in the 1920's. This watercolour was done in a Western watercolour technique, on European watercolour paper and with European watercolour paint. Most watercolours are signed in a Western way in Roman letters. They are made from 1890 till the end of the 1920s by artists with a Western style education, at Art schools in Japan by Western teachers.
