Artist: Tobei Kamei. Title: "Bunraku Puppet." Date: 1949. Publisher: Self-printed by the artist and published by the Korokusha publishing house which he co-founded with Kotozuka and Tokuriki. Format: Approx. 13 x 9 inches. Limited edition of 200 prints. This may be his most well-known print. Works by the artist are in the collections of the Fine Arts Museum of San Francisco, Carnegie Museum of Art, Harvard Art Museum, Los Angeles County Museum of Art, Museum of Fine Arts Boston, The National Museum of Modern Art, Tokyo.
