Monday, 4 July 2005 Early 20th century. Watercolor on paper. 13 x 17 1/4 inches (image and sheet). Signed "Y. Ito" lower right. Ito Yuhan (1882-1951) was a landscape artist whose style transcends evokes the romantic beauty of Japan's unspoiled past. This evening view of Mount Fuji has a sense of quiet timelessness. Excellent color and condition!
