SHUZO IKEDA - ORIG. JAPANESE WOODBLOCK PRINT - 1959 We found this wonderful print at an estate auction. The sale was for the estate of a Dr. and his wife who had traveled extensively and collected many beautiful things. This print had been framed but the frame was broken so we removed it. The print measures 12 3/8 inches by 18 3/8 inches. It is signed in the lower left-hand corner "Shu. Ikeda". In the lower right-hand corner it reads " -59 , No. 386, 4/20". The print is in good condition with no tears or bends. The border is somewhat darkened and I have taken a picture of the back of the print so that you can see the discoloration on the corners from the framing.
