Description:

This is a beautiful original woodblock print by postwar Japanese printmaker Hiyoshi Mamoru, depicting what appear to be totem poles which bear a marked resemblance to Manny, Moe and Jack (the Pep Boys). Signed lower right, with seals of the artist and publisher. Good color, impression; there is faint foxing in the upper margin, and a crease that runs across the very top of the image; it should be pretty unnoticeable once framed. Oban size, about 9 x 14" plus margins.
