Description:
This is an excellent woodblock print by sosaku hanga printmaker Okiie Hashimoto. The print is in fair overall condition; there is some mat burn, but the image is really pretty good. The print is sealed with the artist's red seal; it is an early print by this artist, done before he adopted the western custom of signing his prints in pencil and numbering them. The print measures about 14 1/4 x 10 3/4 plus full margins.
