Description:
Saturday, 24 September 2005 Japanese woodblock print warrior triptych by Gekko (1859-1920). Gekko’s version of the Last Stand of the Kusanoki Clan. Backed, slightly trimmed, otherwise very good. An early Gekko composition, dated Meiji 11 or 1878. 14 1/4” x 9 3/8”.
