Description:
Five women at the waterfall by Chikanobu. Original woodblock prints c. 1890s. Each panel measures 14.3 x 9.3 inches. Good condition. Two creases and a little soiling as shown in scan. Backed by album paper. Nice blind printing on the beautiful kimonos. Lacquer printing in hair adds to the many details of this woodblock.
