Artist: Chikanobu Format: Oban tate-e: 13.75" x 9.5" Subject: The bust portrait of a young bijin wearing a kimono decorated with flowers holding a soup bowl. Above her in a cartouche a bijin walking with a paper lantern and two dogs under a tree. Publisher: Matsuki Heikichi Date: June 1897 Condition: Fine colors. Full size. Japanese album backing paper. Minor soils, marks and flaws. Generally very good state of preservation. Impression: Fine impression with gauffrage, mica and lacquer.
