Description:
Colour woodblock print, two sheets from an oban triptych from an album of 117 sheets. The kabuki actors Matsumoto Koshiro V as Sakanaya Danshichi and Sawamura Gennosuke I as Sakanaya Seishichi in the play ‘Gosairei soroe no katabira’ performed at the Ichimura-za in the 6th month of 1809.
