Colour woodblock print, surimono. Formal portrait of actor Arashi Kichisaburo II, commemorating changing name to Kitsusaburo, dressed in formal attire with sword-bearer and elbow-rest. With eight congratulatory poems. Nishiki-e on paper with applied lacquer and mother-of-pearl. Inscribed, signed and sealed.
