Woodblock print, oban yoko-e. Scene from the production of Kagamiyama at the Ichimura theater in the fourth month of Kaei 2 (1849), showing the actors Seki Sanjuro as Katsura Matsunoshin (left), Bando Shuka I in a female role as Katsumi-no O-hide (centre), and Nakamura Utaemon IV as Uraume Kozue (right), all three before a screen with a pastoral landscape.
