Description:
Colour woodblock print, oban. The kabuki actors Asao Kuzaemon I as Hikyaku tenoura Hachibei and Matsumoto Yonezo I as Mariya Oryu in the play ‘Hatsu yuki monomi no matsu’ (alternate reading ‘Hatsu no hana monomi no matsu’) by Namiki Gohei I; performed at the Ichimura-za in the 11th month of 1803.
