Print, colour woodblock print, showing imaginary trial of strength (kubihiki) between the Osaka kabuki actors Nakamura Utaemon III (right) and Bando Mitsugoro III (left), both in the role of Ishikawa Goemon (Utaemon III at Naka-za, Mitsugoro III in competition at Kado-za). Poems above by Hatsukuni and Chikakuni; signed.
