Woodblock print. Actor Yamamura Ichitaro in female part, wearing kimono with design of New Year symbols (battledores, pine-fronds and rice-cakes on an offering-stand). With hand-colouring, 'lacquer' (ink and glue) and metal dust. Signed and marked.
