"Asamayama". Mt. Asama spewing volcanic cloud. It is the most active volcano in central Honsh�, the main island of Japan. It stands 2,568 metres (8,430 ft) above sea level on the border of Gunma and Nagano prefectures. It is one of the 100 famous mountains in Japan.
