Description:
The monkey king on his flying cloud is offering the Bijin a ride. She looks like having a terrible heart burn. Frontispiece illustration for a novel "Fukuro Monogatari" from the popular literary magazine Bungei Kurabu, Vol.4, No 14, which was aimed at largely female readers in Meiji - Taisho era.
