"Jidai Kagami" (Mirror of the Ages) Lady in Kaei era (1848-54). Upper Inset: Ogi (folding fan) merchant and "sugoroku" (Japanese traditional game often played on the New Year's Day) seller walk in front of a New Year's Day ornament.
