From the series "Showa Shokugyo E-zukushi" ("Pictures of Vocations in Showa Era"), Vol.1. No. 3. "Boxers". Having been introduced to Japan, boxing has made great progress there, too. Consequently the number of professional Japanese boxers has gradually increased.
