"Ryuan-ji Sekitei" (Stone Garden of Ryuan Temple). Although it looks a simple stone garden at first sight, the stone garden of Ryuan-ji has been considered as one of the best Zen stone gardens in the world. The neatly raked pebbles represent the ocean dotted with fifteen rocks of islands. The whole garden is the expression of the abstract Zen universe.
