A frontispiece illustration for a novel, "Shin Shun" (The New Year), published in Bungei Kurabu Vol.19, no.2. A girl was playing battledore. She came to pick up the shuttle near the tall brick wall. Then, she noticed a bush warbler is singing the early spring song.
