Description:
From the series, "Meisho Juni Kei" (Twelve Famous Sceneries), "Fuji no Akebono" Mt. Fuji in the morning glow. Hasui made 12 designs for uchiwa-e commissioned by the Japanese paper maker, Haibara in 1935. They were published as "Hasui Uchiwa-e Juni Kei". The original blocks were discovered from the warehouse of the printer, Takahashi. This new series was made from the original blocks with the permission by the heir of Hasui.
