From the series, "Setsu Getsu Ka" (Snow Flower Moon), one of Chikanobu's best series. "Boushu; Flower, no.42". High Priest Nichiren and a huge serpant. The lower inset depicts the legend of Nichiren's birth. His mother dreamed the sun entered her body when she conceived him.
