"Azuma Nishiki Chuya Kurabe" (Edo Embroidery Pictures, Comparison of the Day and the Night) The Palace of Date. Asaoka was the nanny for Kamechiyo, the heir of powerful house of Date. She guarded the child against various assassination attempts.
