Description:
Girl is carrying a basket of flower arrangement. This is Gyosui's woodblock version of Edo nihon-ga master KANO Tanyu (1601-1674) painting. Gyosui was a rare distinguished female Nihon-ga artist before W.W.II. She was daughter of Kyosai and known for her sensitive depictions of beauties.
