"Hitou". Kuchi-e Illustration for Bungei Kurabu magazine, Vol.15, no.4. A Beauty. She looks like a bit tipsy. Kiyokata was the master of depicting the delicate beauties. He was able to depict the subtle emotional states which was particularly suited for the illustrations of the popular literary magazines in the Meiji era.
