Description:
"To no Mieru Minato" (Harbor from which a tower can be seen). Harbor view of Dieppe in Northern France. The town is known for a failed landing attempt of more than 6,000 infantrymen of Canadian and British allied forces on August 19, 1942. However, the experience of Dieppe was useful in the preparations of the successful operation on "D-Day", June 6, 1944.
