Description:
"Shirasagi Jo" (Shirasagi Castle). The white walls of this elegant castle glow red in the setting sun light. "Shirasagi" (white heron) is another name for Himeji Castle in Hyogo prefecture since it resembles a bird ready for flight. The castle was registered on UNESCO's World Heritage list in 1993.
