From the album series of prominent Rimpa artists. Colorful poppies. "Rimpa" was a decorative school founded by Sotatsu in early 17th century. Korin OGATA (1652-1716) further developed its boldly simplified natural forms. His strikingly modern creations were moved into the spotlight again by Sekka KAMISAKA (1866-1942).
